When do the cherry blossoms bloom in Kyoto?

Cherry blossom in Kyoto typically occurs between late March and early April, with full bloom lasting about one week.

Official 2027 forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Corporation and Weathernews are published starting January or February 2027; I will share the updates with you as soon as they are released.

This is the busiest travel season in Japan, so booking your preferred tour dates well in advance is highly recommended.
